A current material research project.
Gipsvormen is an in-progress body of material research. The work is still developing and is therefore presented here as a process page rather than a finished installation.
The research focuses on repetition, mould-making and the relationship between negative and positive form. The plaster elements function as a way to study rhythm, surface and transfer: how a shape can be repeated, altered and re-read through material.
This page will be expanded once the work has reached a more final form. For now, it offers a glimpse into the studio process behind future ceramic developments.
